Andrea did many designs in Mexico, but mass production of the items became unsatisfying for her. Weaving beads is a soothing, healthy meditative occupation. Making a beautiful piece once is a wonderful and satisfying experience, even if it takes several tries to achieve the desired results. To make the same piece again and again turns it into a job, instead of joy. Andrea decided that she would rather design and create, and put it all into kits, so that many people could enjoy making their own.  They can make a beautiful wearable art piece, with all the kinks worked out for them.

Andrea and Andy left Mexico and moved to the mountains near Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. There she continues to put visions into the weavings and Andy continues to make the visions doable and viable, improving the techniques of weaving and finishing pieces. He does the photography, computer work relating to the site and making patterns, also simplifying directions, for beginning weavers to understand and calm frustrations.
