A Bit About The Artist and

Owner has been designing and making belts, necklaces, bracelets, chokers, and many other items for over 25 years. She began her bead designing education in Greenwich Village, NY, learning from an American Indian. She attended Eastman School of Music, was, and still is, a great singer, recorded records, and was a model from the mid 60's through the 70's. She met there, and they moved to Ajijic, Jalisco Mexico to further their education in designing and beadwork. They formed a great business and personal relationship. They formed a company that made up wearable art and shipped their creations around the world to London, Paris, New York City, Rodeo Drive in California, Denmark, Canada, and many other locations.

Owner did many designs in Mexico, but mass production of the items became unsatisfying for her. Weaving beads is a soothing, healthy meditative occupation. Making a beautiful piece once is a wonderful and satisfying experience, even if it takes several tries to achieve the desired results. To make the same piece again and again turns it into a job, instead of joy. Owner decided that she would rather design and create, and put it all into kits, so that many people could enjoy making their own. They can make a beautiful wearable art piece, with all the kinks worked out for them.

Owner and left Mexico and moved to the mountains near Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. There she continues to put visions into the weavings and continues to make the visions doable and viable, improving the techniques of weaving and finishing pieces. He does the photography, computer work relating to the site and making patterns, also simplifying directions, for beginning weavers to understand and calm frustrations.
